Does not have a buffet, but the food is really good, and a good price.

My favorite place for Chinese food. I Luv the owners, they have became friends, and you can feel the love for their customers in the delicious food. I highly recommend this darling Restaurant to everyone!

Great place great food great price

The food here can be great or just "ok." I am not sure why there is such a variation in quality, but when it is good it is amazingly good. The restaurant itself looks rather run down and is just a hole in the wall joint, so atmosphere is definitely not why it staid in business. Over all there are better places to get Chinese food.

Best Chinese food around. No buffet, You order what you want and it's fresh and hot.

Staff was very attentive even on a busy Sunday afternoon. The food was VERY good and you get a really nice portion.

The third star is more out of curiosity. The food didn't taste bad but it was completely devoid of flavor. Bland and tasteless. The only positive part was the chicken for the General Tsao's was nice and crispy. The service was mediocre as the older lady who waited on us was grumpy. The prices in the menu are outdated as we were charged nearly a dollar more before tax for each item we ordered. Not the worst I've ever had but won't go back unless in dying for Chinese food and they are the only ones open.

Not just the best Chinese food, but the best restaurant in Elizabethton period.

Crispy duck should be moist meat & crispy skin. The 5 star seasoning is over-powering & they do not provide dipping sauce. I order other items & I was not impressed. However, I always try a restaurant at least once, to form my own opinion. Once was enough for me.

Delicious food (chicken in garlic sauce and twice-cooked pork) served in a timely manner and piping hot at a fair price. Soups (hot and sour and chicken noodle) are equally delicious. I highly recommend eating here.

Out dated food ok

This place has great prices, especially on lunch specials. The food is always tasty, and for an appetizer they have very good wings.

Affordable and delicious lunch

Food is great but the wonton soup is nothing but noodle no meat and not consistent. Sometimes it's too pepper or taste like bland broth. Don't get it .. the other food is decent especially for the area.

Been eating here for years. Reasonable prices, friendly service. Egg rolls are the best around. Hot and sour soup is very unique and extremely tasty. Shrimp fried rice is my new favorite. Building is a bit run down. They remodeled some things like flooring, but the booth seats are sunk in and worn out and table tops have ALWAYS been sticky. I'm hoping their new location is nicer.

I've been going to Hunans for 28 years. The food is delicious. The beef broccoli, chicken cashew, wonton soup, and crab rangoon are my favorites. :)

Best Chinese food ever. This has been the best place to eat Chinese food. Have never tasted anything better. They chopped the vegetables so small that was cooked well and delicious We were I bikers that stopped for dinner and throughout the trip just remembered how delicious the food was!

Just tried this place after recently moving to town. Honestly some of the best Chinese food I’ve had in awhile. General Tso and sweet/sour chicken were delicious! Definitely will be back. Now that they’re on DoorDash I’ll definitely be getting it more often.

I had been craving Hunan for days. I haven't eaten there in ages but they never fail to impress... I picked up my order to go and when I got back to My apartment on the tree streets it was still plenty hot. It was even better than I remembered! The staff is always friendly too which is a very welcome bonus!

Wonderful find!We just arrived in town yesterday, from WA. We enjoy Chinese food. We gave Hunan a try, and we're glad we did!The entrees were very tasty & LARGE portions. When we got the bill, I expected it to be much higher than it was. In WA, we would have paid at least $20 more for what we got.I highly recommend Hunan Chinese Restaurant!

Wonderful place to eat. The customer service was excellent . Food was outstanding, and was served in a timely manner. Just an all around excellent experience, from top to bottom. Glad we found this place. It will definitely part of our normal routine..
